You can also carry a compliment of Combat and Mining drones for mining ops. Use the Harvesters while you're mining, but when the spawn comes everyone pops out their Heavy combat drones and destroys the spawn... Then go back to Harvesters. Enough ...

This has always seemed like a good solution to me, but I know very little about the technical side. I just hope something is done soon. Intentionally lagging someone to death shouldn't be possible, and "10 second invulnerability" is no solution at...

That'd be a bad idea. You shouldn't be able to research and build the same blueprint. This way you have to alternate between building and researching. Makes a nice balance.
